Ravindra Jadeja just like the rest of the Indian and Pakistani fans is gearing up for 14th October. That is the day India and Pakistan clash once again in the ODI Cricket World Cup. Ahmedabad, which hosts the iconic clash is expected to house a massive crowd for the epic encounter.

Every time there is an India versus Pakistan encounter the broadcasters hype up the big game. This mechanism reached a new high during the ODI World Cup 2015 held in Australia.

‘Mauka Mauka’ a short advertisement to show India’s unbeaten run against their arch-rivals had created a storm. The much-spoken-about advertisement is set for a comeback ahead of the 2023 ODI World Cup as well.

Ravindra Jadeja shows his acting skills

Star Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was recently spotted shooting an ad. This is for the hype for the India versus Pakistan encounter to be played at Ahmedabad on 14th October. This will be the 8th time the two teams play in the ODI World Cup.

There is a short 46-second video doing the rounds on social media with the ace Indian star. Jadeja can be seen with Vishal Malhotra the model who essays the role of the Pakistani fan. The 34-year-old can be seen bowling and doing fielding drills while shooting the ad.

Ravindra Jadeja will be playing his third World Cup and his first at home. The 34-year-old wasn’t picked for the victorious 2011 campaign. Jadeja played a key role in the Indian success during the 2023 Asia Cup tournament which India won for a record eight time just a few days ago.

The immediate focus now shifts to Rajkot which is the home ground of Ravindra Jadeja. That’s the venue for the final ODI against Australia which is to be played on Wednesday. India had won the game on Sunday to win the ODI series against Australia their first since 2017.

The Indian all-rounder had scored an unbeaten 13 with the bat and followed it up with 3 wickets. Jadeja began by dismissing Alex Carey for 14. The left-arm spinner then got the wicket of Adam Zampa for 5 and ended the game with the wicket of Sean Abbott for 54.
