The former captain of India won ODI World Cup, T20 World Cup, Champions Trophy, Commonwealth Bank Series, Asia Cup, and multiple IPL seasons. India became the number 1 Test team for the first time in the history of cricket under his captaincy.

Coming from a small town like Ranchi where cricket was not popular, MS Dhoni went on to become one of the greatest cricketers for India. MS Dhoni is an inspiration for many cricketers, especially for young cricketers from small towns. Under the leadership of MS Dhoni, many cricketers were groomed including the likes of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Shikhar Dhawan, and many others. MS Dhoni has earned a lot of fans because of his contributions to Indian cricket.

Dhoni graciously accepted the gift and posed for an image with the fans. Some other fans cheered him with the chants of “Dhoni..Dhoni..”. The skipper of Chennai Super Kings acknowledged them by waving his hands.

One of the fan clubs of the cricketer posted a video of MS Dhoni accepting the artwork from the fan. A lot of fans wished their ‘Thala’ on social media. Rishabh Pant cut a cake for Dhoni and wished him. The fans remember the great man’s contribution to the Indian team by mentioning his achievements in cricket. Many also expressed their sadness about not being able to watch him play regularly post-retirement.
