‘Toh Katappa kaun hai paaji?’ -Fans react as Harbhajan Singh calls MS Dhoni Bahubhali in his birthday wish as he turns 42

MS Dhoni celebrated his 42nd birthday on Friday. He has been one of the best captains of the Indian team. The man from Jharkhand has led India in three world events under his captaincy. The T20 World Cup in 2007, the ODI World Cup in 2011 and also the Champions Trophy in 2013. The Men in Blue also made it as the no 1 ranked side in Test cricket when MS Dhoni was at the helm.

Fans from India and all over the world expressed their warm wishes for the former India captain. One among them was Harbhajan Singh who put a heartfelt tweet equating MS Dhoni to the cult hero Bahubali an Indian film which was made by SS Rajamouli that was a super hit motion picture in India and all over the world. The man from Jharkhand also showcased his hitting power with the bat using his long levers when he played for India and also for Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

Even in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, MS Dhoni took the internet by storm due to his biceps and calm mind. A lot of the commentators were of the opinion that MS Dhoni would be able to unleash the power game that he is known for and they were very right in their observation as MS Dhoni played handy cameos for the franchise which helped them win their fifth title in IPL history.

Harbhajan and MS Dhoni were also part of the 2007 and 2011 World Cup-winning sides. The two helped India create history in South Africa as they went on to become the inaugural T20 champions. Four years later, MS Dhoni and Harbhajan came together again and helped the Men in Blue rewrite history on home turf in front of a packed Mumbai crowd at the Wankhede.

The duo also came together in 2018 when Harbhajan Singh moved from Mumbai Indians to CSK after the 2017 IPL season. CSK won their fourth IPL title in 2018 after coming back into the tournament due to a two-year ban as it was alleged that they had indulged in match-fixing.
