After the win, the members of the Indian Women’s team were seen in a fun and upbeat mood when they were proceeding to the airport. Jemimah Rodrigues uploaded a video on Instagram, where the Indian Women’s team were seen doing catwalks while in their PPE Kit. The legendary Jhulan Goswami along with Jemimah Rodrigues and Harleen Deol and the likes were seen having a fun time after a high-octane series against England.

The series against England ended on a sour note as the run-out controversy involving Deepti Sharma and Charlotte Dean took centerstage and grabbed everyone’s attention. The controversy erupted as a lot of people took different sides on Twitter and the question of “ethics” was a heated debate on social media.

After a lot of analysis was done, it was revealed that Charlotte Dean was out of the crease a record 73 times. Also from an Indian perspective, they said that the runout was only executed after issuing warnings to Charlotte Dean. The England cricketers on Twitter expressed frustration for the runout and said that the runout was illegitimate and that it was not a good way to end the game.

Now, Heather Knight has given a take on the issue, and she has said that the game is over. “Charlie was dismissed legitimately, India was the deserving winner of the match and the series. But no warnings were given. They don’t need to be given, so it hasn’t made the dismissal any less legitimate. But if they’re comfortable with the decision to affect the runout, India shouldn’t feel the need to justify by lying about warnings”, Knight said
