Notably, the hosts ended their journey in the top spot in the league stage of the ODI World Cup 2023, and they will be looking to defeat the Black Caps in the upcoming clash. On the other hand, the Kiwis have finished themselves in fourth place with five wins and four losses in the tournament.

Cricket fans at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Park in Mumbai cheered for the Indian team. A fan, Anand Prajapati told ANI, “We are very excited for this match. Last time we could not make it but this time we won’t lose the opportunity. All batsmen and batters are in form.”
