Virat Kohli is the most popular cricketer in the world. The Indian cricketer has a lot of fans in world. Even outside India, the star cricketer has so many fans. But in India, the craze for Virat is simply unbelievable. Fans are mad for the Indian cricketer and wish to get a glimpse of him in person. One such lucky fans got an opportunity to meet Virat in person.
A handicapped fan, who was on wheelchair, had come to meet the Indian cricketer in Chennai. India is currently in Chennai for the match against Australia. Virat is the practice session at the venue. After the practice session, Virat decided to meet his special fan. The two met each other after the session and the fan was overwhelmed with joy upon meeting his favorite cricketer.
The fan shared his experience of meeting Virat. Speaking about the meeting, the fan said “I am Srinivas. I am from Chennai here. I came here to buy the tickets for the World Cup for the upcoming match between India and Australia. But eventually I met Virat Kohli,” said Srinivas, the cricket fan, who met Virat. There was happiness visible in the words of the fan.
“He came straight to me and asked, ‘Would you want me to sign on this (A photo frame of Virat Kohli drawn by himself)’. I was like ‘Yes sir’. I was super anxious, and it was like a dream come true moment for me. And then we took photo. He was super awesome. He was too kind, unlike on the field,” added Srinivas, who claimed himself to be a 19-year-old.
“9 years before, I saw the cover drive of his, which made me draw this. I don’t think expecting something is cool. All I would say is, all the best to all the 15 members (In the Indian squad) and my love. Good luck!” added the fan, who wished luck for all the Indian players in the ODI World Cup squad. India would love the support of such fans.
