Drew McIntyre wore the Indian cricket jersey to show his support to the team. The move of the WWE superstar has impressed the Indian fans, who are gearing up to witness the spectacle in their home conditions. The ODI World Cup 2023 will be the biggest spectacle in India in the recent times. There is a huge hype for the tournament among the sports enthusiasts.
The tickets for the tournament were sold out instantly after the announcement. Many fans were and are ready to buy tickets at a higher price than usual. There is a huge demand among the fans, especially from the Indian fans, for their team to bring the World Cup home. The last time India did was in 2011 and has not won the tournament since then.
In the edition, India became the first team to win an ODI World Cup final at home. Australia and England followed the path of India in the following editions in 2015 and 2019. In the ODI World Cup 2023, India remains one of the favorites to win the tournament. The Indian team is ranked the number one side in the format going into the big tournament. Drew McIntyre’s ongoing feud with Jey Uso
McIntyre sported the Indian jersey in the ring and showed his support to the Indian team. The WWE superstar is currently having a feud with Jey Uso, who had a not-so-good history with McIntyre in the past. During his period in the bloodline, Jey assisted Roman Reigns on many occasions and helped the current world champion in retaining and claiming the titles.
Following the Summer Slam 2023, Jey stepped out of Smackdown and returned to RAW. The Scottish warrior has been facing Jey since then. On Monday night raw, McIntyre had a match against Jey and won it despite the interruption from Judgement Day, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, and Cody Rhodes. It will be interesting to see how the feud between McIntyre and Jey progresses.
