WATCH: Arijit Singh performs in Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad ahead of match between India and Pakistan

Arijit Singh performed in the special ceremony ahead of the match between India and Pakistan in the ODI World Cup 2023. Along with Arijit, other singers performed at the event like Sunidhi Chauhan, Shankar Mahadevan, and Sukhwinder Singh. Arijit’s performance was one of the highlights of the event. The fans who were present in the stadium were fortunate enough to witness the performance of the Indian singers.
Unfortunately, the fans who are watching the match from home on small and medium screens, could not see the opening ceremony. Star Sports announced that there would be no live streaming or telecasting of the event on TV or streaming platforms. Fans were disappointed with the move of the broadcasters, as they could not watch the performance of their favourite singers live.

“The ceremony at the Narendra Modi stadium before match 12 of Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 (India v Pakistan) has been planned for in-stadia fans. The ceremony is not for broadcast,” added the statement of Star Sports. But the fans in the stadium witnessed the event and enjoyed it. There were even drone shots that captured the show of Arijit. On replays, they looked so well, and fans wished they could see it on TV.
Arijit performed well in the event. The Indian singer sang many songs, which entertained the crowd. Most notably, Arijit’s one of the most famous songs in recent times, Lehra Do from 83, was performed. It was cheered from the crowd. The voice of Arijit was so soothing and lit up the mood of the fans in the stadium. After the event, India won the toss and elected to bowl first.
