Virat Kohli is back to ruling the roost across formats in cricket. The former Indian captain smashed a brilliant 186 against Australia in the fourth Test at Ahmedabad. When it comes to ODIs, Kohli recently broke into the top 5 run-getters in ODI cricket. Kohli, despite being among the runs recently, said that the best is yet to come. He said he wants to create a storm in the Indian T20 League.
In 2022, Kohli did not have the best of Indian T20 League seasons as the former Bangalore skipper could only accumulate 341 runs in 16 games. The positive for Bangalore is that they have made it to the playoffs in the last three seasons. Kohli will want to put the Bold Army in front with his good form. The right-hand batter is presently in Mumbai. He will take a flight to Bangalore and join his teammates soon.
“I think I’m back to playing the way I do, but there’s a lot of room to get to my best, which hopefully happens during the Indian T20 League,” Kohli said on Bold Diaries. In the show, he talked about returning to Bangalore and to the Chinnaswamy Stadium. Bangalore’s first match takes place against Mumbai at home on April 2.
Bangalore will be led by Faf du Plessis for yet another season. The former South African gave a good account of himself as Bangalore made it to the playoffs. Bangalore lost to Rajasthan in the eliminator in 2022. The franchise had eight wins and six losses with 16 points in 2022. Notably, the Bold Army have not yet one an Indian T20 League trophy. The franchise has made it to the finals on three occasions in 2009, 2011 and 2016.
Kohi’s best Indian T20 League season came in 2016 when he scored 973 runs with four hundreds and took Bangalore to the finals where they fell agonisingly short of Hyderabad’s target by 8 runs. In that season, AB de Villiers and Iqbal Abdullah helped them get through a nerve-racking qualifying game against Gujarat.

I love that Kohli isn't satisfied with where he is at. He has been scoring a lot of runs since his return.
But even us kohli fans know he still isn't in his peak and even kohli admitting that is sending me shivers at the fact that this man still has that hunger and self belief.

I'm not saying this because I'm a Bangalorean, but we all can agree that RCB and its fans thoroughly deserve to win at least one IPL.

Hopeful for a lot. And by 'a lot' I mean a lot.
800+ IPL season.
Century in WTC final & win
Atleast 2 more 100s before WC start..
Then 4 100s in the freakin WC(1 in the final) & WC win.I really want Kohli to achieve these no.s when he ends his career(2027🤞)
