IPL 2024 is a long way away but there is already a lot of news about change in coaching staff doing the rounds for some franchises. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are on the lookout for a new head coach as per a report from Cricbuzz. Justin Langer recently joined the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) as head coach replacing Andy Flower. SRH did not have the best of seasons in IPL 2023 last year as they could muster only four wins and ten losses. They ended their campaign with just eight points.

The report further suggested that Andy Flower could become the head coach of the Rajasthan Royals ahead of IPL 2024. No official confirmations were made on this matter. Kumar Sangakkara is widely expected to continue as the current director of Rajasthan Royals. Earlier reports indicated that Andy Flower is in talks with an IPL franchise up North though it remains to be seen which one. When it comes to Flower he has helped LSG reach the playoffs in their first two seasons in IPL in 2022 and 2023.

Reports indicated that Royal Challengers Bangalore could change their coaching staff ahead of the 2024 Indian Premier League

Things are not looking good for Brian Lara as the franchise was not happy with his coaching style in IPL 2023. This means that SRH is likely to part ways with him ahead of IPL 2024. There has not been an official word on the matter yet by both parties. Some reports came in saying Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are looking to change their coaches and support staff ahead of the 2024 IPL season. After making it to the playoffs for three seasons from 2020 to 2022. The Bold Army narrowly missed out on a playoff spot in the 2023 season.

“Their contract with RCB is still intact,” “The team is still under the process of review. We will come back if any announcement on the changes in the team.” The franchise had said in a statement. If changes are made to the RCB setup then it will impact their Women’s team as well. Mike Hesson coached the RCB women’s side in the inaugural edition of the Women’s Premier League where they finished in fourth place with just two wins.
