South African team arrives at Thiruvananthapuram for the white-ball series against India, pictures surface on social media

South Africa and India will lock horns with each other for a three-match T20I series followed by as many ODIs.

The next task for Team India will be to play a full series consisting of three ODIs and three T20Is against South Africa. The team from the rainbow nation will embark on their second tour of India after the one they had in June which was a closely contested T20I match series of 5 games which ended in stalemate as the final game at Bangalore was washed out due to rain.

According to reports, India will put out lesser-known names for ODI matches because all the T20 World Cup bound players will leave for Australia on October 5th after the completion of the T20I series in Indore on October 4th.

The South Africans will play a three match T20 series for which they have landed in Thiruvananthapuram where the 1st T20 will be held on Wednesday September 28th. After that, the teams will move to Guwahati for the second match on Sunday October 2nd, and the third match will be held at Holkar Stadium in Indore on Tuesday, October 4th.

Coming to the ODI series, it will start on Thursday, October 6th in Lucknow, and Ranchi will host the second match on October 9th. The tour will finish at Delhi on October 11th after which South Africa will move to Australia for the 20-20 World Cup.

South Africa have been undefeated in a bilateral T20 series in India so far and Rohit Sharma will want to make sure that this box is ticked when the T20I series ends.
