After allegedly stalking him for days, a woman from Hyderabad, India, attempted to kidnap him in a desperate attempt to marry a TV presenter. On Friday, the police arrested Bhogireddy Trishna, a 31-year-old woman. Police claim that Trishna, who runs a digital marketing company in Hyderabad, stumbled upon the profile of TV host and video jockey Pranav Sistla on a matrimonial website.

She discovered later that it was actually a phoney profile. After getting in touch with the real Pranav, Trishna carried on her obsession and tale of desperation with him, ultimately resulting in the TV anchor’s kidnapping. Trishna discovered Pranav’s pictures on a Bharat Matrimony profile two years ago. She struck up a conversation with him but soon discovered it was a fake account.

Shocking News of Hyderabad Woman:

Nevertheless, she used an instant messaging app (Instagram) to communicate with the real VJ Pranav separately and inform him about the incident. He informed her that he had filed a police complaint and that it was a phoney account that someone had made using his picture. But she kept messaging him, so he blocked her number, according to the police. If the woman had known her limits and what consent meant, the story might have ended here, but she was adamant about getting married to the video jockey.

The police said she hired four men to kidnap him in order to get her way out of the situation. She also put an AirTag on Pranav’s vehicle so she could regularly monitor his location. According to police, the victim was abducted on February 11 by the four hired men, who then took him to the woman’s office and severely beat him. The TV anchor was only released after responding to the woman’s calls out of fear for his life, according to the police.

After being set free, Pranav went straight to the Uppal police station and reported the abduction, which resulted in the woman and the four abductors being taken into custody. The Indian Penal Code’s (IPC) pertinent sections 363 (kidnapping), 341 (wrongful restraint), and 342 (wrongful confinement) were used to register the case. The accused woman and the four men she hired to carry out the kidnapping were arrested by the police during the course of the investigation. Investigations are currently being conducted further.
