India beat Australia in Delhi by six wickets and took a 2-0 lead in the four Test match Test series on Sunday. Ravindra Jadeja was the architect of India winning both the Tests as he took seven wickets in the first Test against Australia and then picked up a seven-wicket haul in the second Test.

On Sunday, February 19, Ravindra Jadeja took social media in a buzz by following his fellow spinner, Nathan Lyon on Instagram, but he said that he would follow his fellow spinner only for 24 hours.

“Following my friend Nathan Lyon for 24 hours,” Jadeja had written in his Instagram story along with laughing emoji. Jadeja had put the same on an Instagram Story.

Jadeja has a whopping five million followers on Instagram, but Lyon is the only person that he follows. Lyon also put out a screenshot of the same and shared it on his Instagram story.  Both Jadeja and Lyon have been linchpins for their respective sides in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

Lyon did not have the best of outings at Nagpur, but he stunned everyone at Delhi by picking up a five- wicket haul which helped Australia bowl out India for 262 and get a one run lead but India turned the match around in the second innings on the back of Jadeja’s 7-42 which helped India win the Delhi Test.

Jadeja had a long hiatus from the Indian Team because he was down with a knee injury for which he required surgery. He then proved his match – fitness by bowling in a Ranji Trophy game against Tamil Nadu and picking up a seven-wicket haul for Saurashtra. Jadeja made an immediate impact at Nagpur by picking up a five-wicket haul in the first innings on his Test comeback to the Indian Team.

India need to win the four match Test series against Australia by a 3-0 or 3-1 margin to qualify for the Test Championship final. The final will take place in England and will likely be played against Australia. India lost the last Test Championship final to New Zealand in 2021 at Southampton.
