With the World Cup just three days away. The former players and experts have started predicting their squads and top scorers and wicket-takers for the World Cup. All the teams for the ODI World Cup 2023 have been announced. The 10 teams are ready to give their best and win cricket’s most prestigious trophy this year. The opening game will be a rematch of the 2019 World Cup final. Defending champions England are set to face New Zealand on October 5, at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.

Ahead of the World Cup former England skipper Nasser Hussain picked his ‘Ultimate World Cup Playing XI’. The cricketer-turned-commentator had to pick one player from each country and he had to pick one wildcard entry as well. He left out the leading run-scorer of 2023, the young opener from India, Shubman Gill, in his list. Only two Indian players got a chance in his Ultimate XI. Surprisingly both of them are batters and no bowler has got a chance in his XI.
