‘Kya koi ghar ki team hai?’ Ex- Pak cricketer Kamran Akmal accuses Pakistan Cricket management for Fakhar Zaman’s injury
The former cricketer is not happy with the Pakistan player's injury.

Pakistan go against South Africa in their fourth Super 12 match at the World Cup on October 3rd. The Men in Green’s loss to Zimbabwe in their second match has derailed their World Cup campaign. Although they still have a mathematical chance of going into the Semi-finals, the chances are very little.
With all the negativity surrounding the team in their trying times, the former Pakistan wicketkeeper has come out to add another to Pakistan Cricket Board’s woes. Kamran Akmal, who has played 157 ODI matches for Pakistan has accused Pakistan’s medical unit for Fakhar Zaman’s situation.
The left-handed batter missed the first two games of the 20-20 World Cup and played the third one, only to aggravate his injury and get ruled out of the whole tournament. Akmal has asked questions of Pakistan’s medical panel following Zaman’s ouster from the 20-20 World Cup.
“Fakhar ka koi kasoor nahi hai. Medical panel se puchna chaie, selectors se puchna chaie, captain aur coach se bhi. Ye Pakistan ki team hai, koi domestic wala nahi ki apne marzi ka kuch bhi kar le. Sack karna chaie is medical panel ko. (There’s no fault of Fakhar. The medical panel, selectors, captain and coach are answerable. The medical panel should be sacked,)” said Akmal on his YouTube Channel.
The former Pakistan player believes that PCB along with coach and captain should be held responsible for Zaman aggravating the injury.
“Meri toh request PCB se hai ki is medical panel ko kis buniyad pe rakkha hu hai? Tapco injury k bade mein nahi pata, aap injured players ko squad mei rakh rahe ho. Ye kya koi ghar ki team hai ki koi bhi inured ho phir bhi hissa banega. Jo fit hote hai, jo domestic mein bada accha karte hai unpe toh bohut allegation lagate hai. Agar wo fitness test clear na kare toh aap ghar bhijwane ki baat karte hai. Toh Pakistan team mein aisa kyu nahi hota? (PCB has kept this medical panel on what basis? They don’t know about injuries, they are making injured players play. The ones fit and scoring runs in domestic cricket have to face a lot of criticism, they are sent home if they don’t pass the fitness test,)” Kamran Akmal added.
