Kobe Bryant once talked about drawing inspiration from Taylor Swift

Kobe Bryant and Taylor Swift have formed a bond over the years. They developed some close camaraderie when Bryant was still blazing like a ball of fire in the NBA. In an interview with Jordan Harbinger, the golden man of the LA Lakers talked about the singing legend. Swift has been off the charts since 2006 and from there she has constantly raised the bar with regard to her standards. At the age of 17 people were stunned and took notice of her great skills when it came to singing.

In the case of Bryant, he was also noticed for the magic that he could produce with basketball at a young age. He moved to the NBA straight from school at the ripe age of 18. He made heads roll and people take note in his first season at the NBA. When the men who mattered saw him they knew he was a star in the making. Bryant became a big household name in the sport of basketball and also made sure that he etches his name in the history of basketball forever.

“I think it’s important to listen to people who do great things. You know, it’s not just genre specific. Taylor has been at the top of the game for a very, very long time. How and why?. Bryant said. “How did she write? How did she get into that mental space to be able to create things over and over and over? It’s a lot of pressure for her to follow up a number 1 album with a better album then follow with a better [album].” Bryant added.

“I don’t care if you like her music or if you don’t like her music. Look at what she’s doing! It’s frightening. It’s unbelievable to be able to pull that off over and over and over. I look at things like that and try to learn from it as much as I can.” he added.  Byrant was presently surprised that he was able to get so much out of Swift even though they did not have many commonalities between them.
