The big electric Serbian Novak Djokovic put out an emotional message on social media when it was revealed that Roger Federer was playing his last tournament i.e., the Laver Cup. In the message that went viral on social media, Novak Djokovic talked about the legacy which was left behind by the veteran Tennis player and the big footprint that he had left on the great game of tennis.
When the big announcement of Roger Federer hanging his boots from the hallowed sport of tennis came out, he put an end to all the speculations and said that the Laver cup will be the last competitive tennis tournament that he will participate in.
He will take part in the tournament along with the other greats of tennis such as Andy Murray, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic as they all come together for one last time in the presence of Roger Federer.

Both Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic have immense respect for each other and give each other credit for how they have played the game of tennis and also share a storied rivalry that has developed between them and now will come to an end. They have faced each other in 50 encounters with Novak Djokovic having a lead of Federer with 27 wins in the 50 games played.
“Roger it’s hard to see this day and put into words all that we have shared in this sport together. Over a decade of incredible moments and battles to think back on,” wrote Djokovic. He further talked about the Federer’s imprint in the game of tennis that will never fade away and the tale of Roger Federer will live on for generations to come.
“I know this new chapter will bring amazing things for you, Mirka, the kids, all your loved ones and Roger fans still have a lot to look forward to. From our family to yours, we wish you much joy, health and prosperity in the future. Looking forward to celebrating your achievements and seeing you in London,” Djokovic added.
