The Indian Premier League has been a wonderful tournament so far in 2023. The IPL has seen wonderful close finishes that have kept the fans hooked. The League is showcasing its 16th edition and it is getting better and better each year. The tournament was first floated in 2008 and has become one of the best T20 Leagues in the World. The league has also taken the Indian cricketing public by storm.
Cricket is treated as a religion in India. The cricket-crazy fans in the subcontinent country can go to any lengths and breadth to watch a cricket match. One such fan did exactly the same thing. The fan missed an exam to watch MS Dhoni bat in IPL 2023. MS Dhoni has been in good form this tournament. Though he is carrying a knee injury, he has been playing some amazing cameos for CSK which have influenced matches.

MS Dhoni has helped CSK qualify for the playoffs in Indian Premier League
There have been several reports coming in that this could be MS Dhoni’s last IPL. The CSK skipper has refreshingly been ageing like fine wine, on the other side. The former India captain’s biceps had made social media go ga ga over his chiselled body and physique. Harsha Bhogle had said that this could help reinvent MS Dhoni’s power game and he has not been wrong so far. The CSK skipper, however, hinted that he is in the ‘last phase’ of his cricketing career and that he is getting older.
MS Dhoni has been an absolute legend for CSK. The charismatic skipper has ensured that CSK has made the IPL playoffs 11 times. He has led CSK to four IPL titles. The Yellove Army are one of the most successful franchises in the IPL. The former Indian skipper has been with the franchise since the IPL first came on. He has not switched bases since except when the franchise had a two-year ban for alleged match-fixing.
