The cricket-crazy fanatics from Tamil Nadu were jumping for joy after Chennai Super Kings beat Gujarat Titans by 5 wickets. The MS Dhoni-led side beat GT in a see-saw final that went down to the last ball. Ravindra Jadeja broke a lot of hearts from Gujarat but showed why he is second to MS Dhoni in being the most valuable player at CSK with his all-round heroics.
Meanwhile, a heartwarming video has been doing the rounds on social media. An old woman who might be someone’s grandmother was seen clapping in joy. It felt like she was over the moon after CSK became champions for the fifth time. She was sitting right in front of the TV and had the emotions of a five-year-old when the big moment happened. Then the cameras panned on MS Dhoni who was stoic as ever. The old lady was telling Dhoni to show some more emotion.

MS Dhoni has put CSK on the IPL map for eternity. The franchise and MS Dhoni will never be forgotten for a long time to come.
GT put up a strong show with the bat as Sai Sudharsan stole the limelight in the first innings. The left-hander from Tamil Nadu scored a magical 96 off 47 balls with eight fours and six sixes. Wriddhiman Saha scored a valuable 54 off 39 balls with five fours and one six. GT ended with 214-4 in their 20 overs.
In the second innings, All the top-order batters made small but telling contributions which made the difference in the end for the Yellove Army. The die-hard fans of CSK will part long and hard for days to come and really enjoy what has been a long and fulfilling IPL season.
