This dynamic duo can be expected to lay a solid foundation for the middle order. 2022’s breakout star, Rajat Patidar, returns fully fit and eager to translate his domestic brilliance onto the grand stage of the IPL. Following them is a formidable trio: the explosive Glenn Maxwell, the versatile Cameron Green, and the experienced Dinesh Karthik. Weaknesses

Bowling. Again, as has been the case for the major chunk of their history. RCB’s batting firepower might blaze like wildfire, but lurking beneath the surface are cracks in their bowling armour. RCB’s spin options are Karn Sharma, Mahipal Lomror, Mayank Dagar and Swapnil Singh. They have probably the thinnest spin lineup in the tournament and this will bother them in the IPL. While the home crowd’s roar is an undeniable advantage, the unique conditions pose a significant challenge. The Chinnaswamy’s small boundaries are a batsman’s dream, but they can turn into a nightmare for bowlers. Runs flow freely, putting immense pressure on RCB’s already thin bowling attack.
