Mumbai Indians on Sunday announced the return of Hardik Pandya to their franchise after a gap of two years. The trade was completed late on Sunday evening after the teams had announced the list of retentions and releases.

Cameron Green was traded to Royal Challengers Bangalore for INR 17.5 Crores. This paved the way for Pandya to make his move back to the 5-time champions ahead of the IPL 2024 season.

The Titans wasted no time as they named Shubman Gill as the new skipper of the team. The announcement was made on Monday afternoon as the 24-year-old will succeed Pandya and hopes to win the title again.
