Ikkis – Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda gets a STRICT warning from an Army officer!

‘Ikkis’, a biopic about Arun Khetarpal, stars Agastya Nanda, best known for his part in ‘The Archies.‘ The film is based on the life of the late Arun Khetarpal, who lost his life in the 1971 Indo-Pakistan War’s Battle of Basantar. Sriram Raghavan will direct the film. Agastya has been going to army training in order to get ready for the role of Arun Khetarpal. An army officer in Pune gave him a harsh warning during his training session, which made him realise how much responsibility comes with playing this character.

In a recent interview, Agastya Nanda was asked about his debut project, ‘The Archies’, which received mixed responses. The actor stated that when ‘The Archies’ was initially released, he didn’t know how to react to all the social media reactions. While some people liked the film, others didn’t. Agastya mentioned that he is new to all of this and hence didn’t know how to react to both the love and the criticism.

However, he is not disheartened that his debut film was not appreciated as he expected. Instead, he feels happy that he was finally able to make his debut. Agastya accepted that he needs to work hard on his craft to make sure he wins more people’s hearts. Agastya Nanda revealed in a recent interview with Film Companion that he trained hard in Pune to be ready for his role as Arun Khetarpal and that he had the opportunity to speak with army officers during that time.

Arun Khetarpal’s admiration was conveyed to him by one of the officers, who also cautioned Agastya not to ruin the character. Agastya was proud of the chance to bring Arun Khetarpal’s legacy to the big screen even though he felt a sense of responsibility for the role. According to Amitabh Bachchan‘s grandson, he later called his mother, Shweta Bachchan, to convey that he had finally realised how big of a responsibility it was.
