‘He left everyone in tears’ – Netizens react as Bollywood’s Big B Amitabh Bachchan gives a hearfelt farewell

During the last Kaun Banega Crorepati 15 episode, Amitabh Bachchan was seen crying. The veteran actor and host of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) shed tears as they wrapped up the season in a promotional video. Amitabh was probably alluding to the conclusion of the current season, which many mistakenly believed to be his retirement from the show, which is why the video made a lot of his fans cry.

On Saturday night, X was all over him. Amitabh Bachchan looks sharp in a maroon tuxedo in the video. He said, “Devi and Sajjano, hum jaa rahe aur kal se yeh manch ab nahi sajega. (It’s time to leave, ladies and gentlemen, as the stage will no longer be the same.) Apno se yeh keh pana ki kal se hum yahan nahi aa payenge, na kehne ki himmat hoti aur na kehne ka mann hota hai. (Notifying everyone that we won’t be coming back here starting tomorrow is tough.).”

He further said goodbye to the audience leaving everyone in tears. Tbh after some years I really felt bad for him because the way the contestants interacted with him was downright disgusting. We from the 70s era have held him high as an artist of caliber & to see people getting so comfortable as if they are on back slapping terms 😅

It's possible he may not host again, but probability is less. They may bring Abhishek Bachhan on his behalf. There are already indications in last 2 seasons that junior AB would host the show after him.

He has not said this will be his last.
No official announcement either.
If it was his last , I would expect there would have been a better sendoff with all the KBC team.

If he retires, it will take some time for the viewers to adjust just like when any actor gets replaced in a serial. But #KBC will run….because it has changed many persons/families lives financially. So, it's a blessing show for the common man.

Thank God 😊 finally we have done it with amitabh. Nation saw enough of him now he should retire from films too. For last 20 years there is overexposure of amitabh through cinema,TV show,ads. Society doesn't get anything from spineless actors irrespective of their greatness.

Sheela Devi and Avinash Bharti were in the most recent episode. In the finals, Sara Ali Khan, Sharmila Tagore, and Vidya Balan also graced the show. Vidya posted a video of Amitabh discussing Jaya Bachchan, but later on, Sharmila disclosed that Jaya had given her the nickname Rinku Di. Sara, on the other hand, relished her early years on KBC and even shared one of her trademark knock-knock jokes.

In conversation with Uttar Pradesh competitor Avinash Bharti, Amitabh reminisced about his time in college, recalling specific experiences from dorm room number 27. Amitabh finished his BSc at Kirori Mal College, Delhi University, where Avinash studied.
