The former Sri Lankan cricketer Sachitra Senanayake has been arrested by the Sri Lankan police officers due to his involvement in match-fixing scandal. The former Sri Lankan off-spinner accepted his involvement in the match-fixing scandal during the Lanka Premier League 2020. The chief magistrate’s court in Colombo ordered the Controller General of Immigration and Emigration to ban the travel rights of Senanayake which will be effective for three months. The news has not gone well with the fans of Sri Lankan cricket.
