Rohit Sharma, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja were the pillars behind India’s big win against Australia, which was a win by an innings and 123 runs. Rohit scored a wonderful 120 off 212 balls on a tough track at Nagpur. He blunted the Australian bowling and put them into submission. India played superior cricket than Australia and were the better side at Nagpur. India have got a 1-0 lead going into the series.
Ashwin and Jadeja were the warhorses with the ball. The off-spinner picked up eight wickets in the match and, as for Jadeja, the left-arm spinner picked up seven wickets in the match which helped India dismiss the Kangaroos for 177 and 91. Iceland cricket hailed the trio for the game-changing performances but took a sly dig at them on Twitter.
Here is the tweet
So, Rohit, Ravi and Ravindra, you can do it in home conditions, but what about on an icy Saturday on Langjökull glacier? It will need more than some ointment on the finger to grip the ball here. Good conditions for bowling the slider, though. pic.twitter.com/0A9lkPGAWY

Iceland cricket mentioned Rohit, Ashwin and Jadeja in a tweet and challenged them to a match in Iceland at a glacier. They asked them to come and play a match and said that it won’t be easy. They also mentioned Jadeja’s ointment fiasco and made fun of the incident in a light way due to which he received a fine of 25 per cent of his match fees for not informing the umpire before he applied the ointment.
India, in the first innings after bundling out Australia for a low score, mounted 400 on the back of Rohit’s knock and contributions from Jadeja, who scored 70 off 195 balls, with nine fours. Axar Patel made 84 off 174 balls with 10 fours and one six. Mohammed Shami joined in and made a lovely cameo of 37 off 47 balls with two fours and three sixes.
In the second innings, the Indian spinners ran riot over the Australian batters and made life very difficult. They wrapped up the match in just three days and bundled out the Australians for just 91. The lone bright spot for the men from Down Under was Todd Murphy who picked up 7-124 in his 47-over spell.
Let us take a look at the reactions on Twitter-

Well, it will be thrilling to see when someone chasing ball to stop it, finds unable to stop himself while gliding 🤣

I really believe @ashwinravi99 will come up with a plan for this too. If he was given a chance to tour such conditions 😅😅😅

This looks more difficult than scoring on a cold rainy night in Stoke

A school team is enough to beat your team in your home conditions
