The prospect that Jey Uso may unseat Roman Reigns hasn’t won over the WWE Universe. Reigns has held the title of Universal Champion for just over a thousand days. He recently overcame Cody Rhodes during WrestleMania 39 to maintain his title. He also has the WWE Championship.
Fans are uncertain as to who might succeed Roman Reigns as champion at this time. The official Just Talk Wrestling Twitter account sent a tweet outlining a scenario in which Jey Uso would unseat Roman Reigns for the position of Undisputed WWE Universal champion. Reigns made his eagerly anticipated comeback and became a villain at SummerSlam 2020. At Payback 2020, he defeated Braun Strowman and The Fiend to claim the Universal Title.
After capturing the belt, he began a conflict with Jey Uso. At two separate WWE events, Reigns defeated him, with the second match taking place in Hell in a Cell. After the defeat, Jey was compelled to salute Reigns and refer to the man as his Tribal Chief.
Roman Reigns has since defeated a number of the top performers in the industry, including Edge, John Cena, and Brock Lesnar. It’s impossible to predict how long Reigns is going to retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Title or who will finally defeat him. In the night one main event of WrestleMania 39, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens defeated Jey and Jimmy Uso for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship. If WWE replays his rivalry with Reigns in the future, that is yet to be determined.
It’s amazing how Roman Reigns rose to the pinnacle of the WWE. One of, if not perhaps the most decorated performers on the roster right now is the WWE Superstar. The fact that Roman Reigns defeated Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 39 demonstrates WWE’s confidence in him as a legitimate big eventer. After all, only Pedro Morales, Bob Backlund, Sammartino, and Hogan have gone longer without being pinned for the company’s top title.
Fans react to rumors of Roman Reigns being dethroned as the Undisputed WWE champion:
How would you feel if Jey Uso was the one who ultimately dethroned Roman Reigns? pic.twitter.com/K8zhuVWpdg

Roman and Jey's story doesn't need the titles. I don't know why people can't understand that.

Jey should be who ends the tribal chief and bloodline story overall. He could help cost Roman the title too, but if he got the title himself I think heād struggle as all the emotional weight is tied to the Bloodline, not winning the title.

It would be anticlimactic. Jey is primarily a tag wrestler. To have him beat Roman wouldn't have the same impact as when Cody should've won at Wrestlemania.

I don't know… is Jey beating Roman a door to something big? I think we all want to manifest this amazing version of "Main Event" Jey Uso, but I don't think he would be the babyface that Cody or Sami could be.
Would be a cool story, just not the right one.

I only say this because in all honesty the ULTIMATE finish to it would have been Sami and his plan comes to fruition with him dethroned Reigns from inside much the way you see it implode with factions of past…examples include Batista, Orton, HHH, Rollins, etc. in WWE.

Iād personally love it but Iām questioning if theyāve ever do it

Wonāt happen. but heāll likely be apart of the down fall/dethroning process. We already know who the next face of the company is

At this point, I would prefer it.
I know he had his time towards the beginning of Roman Reign's reign but years have passed & I think he could be a different man.
A better man.A man who is determined and also, done with Roman's bullshit.
I think there would be no greater story.— Ashley (@AshTRGaming) April 12, 2023
Disgusted. The end of Romanās title run will be the end of the Bloodline and you canāt end it with that.
