2. Ajantha Mendis 

Ajantha Mendis is one of the best spinners in the history of the Asia Cup. In the final of the 2008 Asia Cup, Mendis bowled one of the most memorable spells in the history of the format. Defending 274 in the final of the tournament against India, Mendis ran through the Indian batting lineup and claimed 6 wickets in his 8-over spell. Earlier in the tournament, Mendis had claimed a fifer against the UAE.
