Shakib Al Hasan bowled a wonderful spell of 1-26 in his four overs in the first innings of the first T20I against England. When Bangladesh batted, the left-handed-batter scored 34 off 24 balls with six fours and, thereby, helped Bangladesh chase down a target of 157. With that win, the Tigers have taken a 1-0 lead in the series.

Following the match, Shakib Al Hasan, once again, made headlines due to an unsavory incident with a fan. The all-rounder was doing some commercial stuff and a lot of fans surrounded him.  The Bangladesh cricketer was protected by huge security.

However, just as the ace all-rounder was about to return to his car and leave the event, one of the fans tried to take the Bangladeshi skipper’s cap away from him. When the fan got hold of the cap, Shakib Al Hasan lost his patience and beat the fan repeatedly with his cap. The video has now created a storm on social media.

Here is the video:

Shakib Al Hasan has previously been involved with heated incidents with the umpires in the BPL too

The Bangladesh skipper has vented his frustration in public eye, earlier, as well and this incident is not the first one. In press conferences and against umpires as well, Shakib has lost his cool in the past.  In the Bangladesh Premier League, the 35-year-old had ugly confrontations incidents with umpires.

When it came to the Dhaka Premier League, Shakib Al Hasan was seen kicking the stumps and was furious. He had done it after having an argument with an umpire. After the 2019 World Cup, he was banned by the Cricket Governing Body for not reporting corruption approaches.

Bangladesh, meanwhile, have done very well after losing the first two ODIs against England. The Bangla Tigers had won the third ODI against the Three Lions by 50 runs in a low scoring encounter. In the first T20I, England lost by six wickets to Bangladesh. The Tigers have fought back well to claim in consolation win in the ODIs and have shown intent by winning the first T20I.
