The fourth and final Test of the Border Gavaskar series 2023 between India and Australia resulted in a draw. Australia scored 480 in the first innings. Usman Khawaja led the way with the bat as he played a sensational knock of 180 runs off 422 balls, including 21 fours.

As the Test match neared to a boring draw, Virat Kohli was seen having some fun banter with his teammates on the field. He was having a hilarious conversation on the stump mic. Virat can be heard saying,

“10-minute dur hai. Plane mein pehle he baith jaunga. Main udaunga aaj”.

The reference to the full conversation cannot be ascertained but it was clear that Kohli was having a great time with his teammates on field.

Here is the video:

Kohli had a wonderful Test match at Ahmedabad where he scored his 28th Test hundred. There was a gap of 41 innings between his 27th and 28th Test hundred. The Delhi batter had last scored a Test century in November 2019. Kohli had muted celebrations when he reached the landmark. He converted the century into a classy innings of 186 off 364 balls with 15 fours and, thereby, helped India reach 571.

The former India captain received good support from KS Bharat, who scored an enterprising 44 off 88 balls with two fours and three sixes. Axar Patel played a wonderful knock of 79 off 113 balls with five fours and four sixes.

His big hitting helped India maintain a good tempo. The Test match was a high scoring encounter as India won the series 2-1. India had recorded a dominating win at Nagpur by an innings and 132 runs. The national side then won the second Test at Delhi by 6 wickets. Australia won the Test in Indore by 9 wickets, but it was not enough. This is the fourth time India have beaten Australia at the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
