‘Article 370’, is a gripping heist that combines history, civics, and legal education. Technically flawless, clever, and full of ruses, Aditya Suhas Jambhale’s puff piece about the Union government’s revocation of Jammu and Kashmir’s constitutionally granted special status is full of them. The prize is Kashmir, which we are told over and over again has been betrayed in the seventy years leading up to the current political order. With steely determination, two real-life men and two fictional women set out to right this perceived historical wrong.
Movie details:
Cast: Yami Gautam, Priyamani, Kiran Karmarkar, Arun Govil, Raj Arun
Director: Aditya Suhas Jambhale
Rating: 3 stars
To prepare for the ‘Article 370’, ruling, intelligence agent Zooni Haksar (Yami Gautam Dhar), stationed in Kashmir, teams up with Rajeshwari Swaminathan (Priya Mani), a bureaucrat in the Prime Minister’s Office in Delhi. The Prime Minister (Arun Govil), who is not named but is easily recognized, and the Home Minister (Kiran Karmarkar) are fully behind them.
A few “aha” moments are staged to highlight a particular section of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s manifesto for reelection. Though purporting to delve into a noteworthy segment of Kashmir’s tumultuous past, ‘Article 370’, is invariably biased. Aditya Dhar, whose ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ was released three months prior to the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, is one of the film’s producers and co-writers. ‘Article 370’, which was introduced just a few months prior to the major election of this year, is well aware of its propaganda potential.
Even though the majority of ‘Article 370’ is based on actual events, one cannot ignore the artistic license that the creators have occasionally taken, which is sometimes too obvious for the audience to overlook. Yami and her colleague surviving a grenade attack without suffering serious injuries, or the NIA questioning suspects behind closed doors are two examples of overly dramatic action scenes.
One of the most important periods in the history of our country is highlighted by ‘Article 370’. It effectively conveys the message it wants to with its strong writing, straightforward story, and superb direction. There are many Bollywood films with Kashmir as the main subject, but this one starring Yami and Priyamani is undoubtedly one of the best.

#Article370Film is just adds one more movie to the list of propaganda value as this film tries to put the BJP government in the spotlight ahead of the general elections. makers clearly specifies at the beginning that it is inspired with lots of cinematic liberty so chill

There are 1000s of movies made in india every where . Quite few of them feature pakistan and this is fairly enough I guess to make you say that all feature pak.
BTW this movie trailer has not a single time feature pakistan …
It'd all about kashmir.— Duke of india (@Samarth19567493) February 23, 2024
