Hubli Tigers skipper Manish Pandey led his side in the final of the Maharaja Trophy to lift the trophy by beating the Mysuru Warriors by eight runs. Pandey was awarded Player of the Match for his 50*(23) as Hubli posted a total of 203/8 in 20 overs. The 33 years with his stunning effort saved a six in the last over the game in the boundary line to help his side win the game, now the video is viral on social and fans are reacting to Manish’s stunning fielding effort.
In the game, he scored a vital fifty and helped his side post a mammoth total in M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. The wickets kept falling from one end but Manish held one strong and made sure his effort was nourished and his side went past the 200 mark in the game. The right-handed batter remained unbeaten on 50 for 23 balls including four sixes and three fours.

The batting effort was not the only major contribution from Manish Pandey in the game, the Tigers skipper also made a stunning save to prevent a six in the very final over the game, it can be said that the tournament result was changed with Pandey’s heroics. Speaking of the final over the game, the Warriors needed 12 runs in six balls, one run went in the first two balls.
At last, the Warriors needed 11 runs from the final four balls when J Suchith hit Manvanth Kumar’s delivery towards long-off. The left-handed batter made a good connection with the ball and it looked like the ball would cross the boundary and go for the six, however, the Long-off fielder had different thoughts as just before the ball crossed the boundary ropes and landed outside for the six, the Team India made a timely jump to push the ball back towards the ground, hopefully in future, we can see Manish heroics in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
