WATCH: Indian cricketer Virat Kohli visits Atria Institute of Technology in Bengaluru

Virat Kohli is back in Bengaluru ahead of the Asia Cup 2023.

Virat Kohli visited the Atria Institute of Technology in Bengaluru and surprised the students. The star cricketer was seen on the campus along with his bodyguards. As the students saw the 34-year-old, they cheered the Indian cricketer and welcomed him. The students chanted “RCB…RCB…” and “Kohli…Kohli…” as Virat entered the university with the security personnel.

Virat Kohli visited the Atria University of Technology for a personal commitment before the big tournaments. As Virat was on his way to Bengaluru from Mumbai, he had to encounter the media people and photographers. As the former Indian captain was getting late, he cleverly escaped them and caught the flight to Bengaluru. Virat then visited Atria University.

6-Day camp of Team India in Bengaluru

India will have a six-day camp in Bengaluru ahead of the 2023 Asia Cup. The team is set to travel to Sri Lanka on the 30th of August for the high-profile tournament. Before that, the management has arranged for a 6-day camp in the Silicon Valley of India for team bonding and regrouping. The players are highly excited about the big tournaments ahead of them.

India will be delighted to have their regular players like Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, and Jasprit Bumrah back in the lineup. Although KL Rahul is set to miss the first match against Pakistan, the former Indian vice-captain is expected to be fit for the rest of the series. The fitness of Rahul and Iyer is crucial for the Indian team for the sake of the balance of the lineup. Bumrah, on the other hand, showed how good he can be after the injury.

The key for India to win the upcoming tournaments will be the experienced duo of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. Without the contributions from the star batters, the campaign in India will be difficult. Hence, it is important for India that the senior players come good in the big tournaments. Like always, the senior batters will be expected to perform for India, which will bring out the best in the individuals.
