The 2023 Women’s ACC emerging teams Asia Cup T20 is slated to be played in June 2023. The tournament will be played between the 12 to 21 June. This will be the inaugural edition of the tournament. All the games will take place in Hong Kong. All the matches will take place at Mission Road Ground in Kowloon. Eight sides will take part in the tournament. This will include five nations with ODI status and the remaining three will be the top associate teams. Skyfair will be the title sponsor of the tournament and Sky 11 will be the presenting sponsor of the tournament.
The tournament is conducted by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). The event will feature ‘A’ teams from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka along with teams from Hong Kong, Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates. The eight teams have been divided into two groups. Group A consists of Bangladesh A, Sri Lanka A, UAE and Malaysia. Whereas Group B will have India A, Pakistan A, Thailand A and Hong Kong. The top two teams from each group at the conclusion of the group stages will make it to the semi-finals of the tournament.
