Virat Kohli has been in good form in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 so far. The former RCB skipper has scored three half-centuries in the IPL 2023 in four games, and it seems like he has found his mojo again. Kohli was not in the best of spirits in 2022. But a good Asia Cup changed all that. The former India captain emerged as the second-highest run scorer in the multilateral tournament behind Mohammad Rizwan.
Recently in an interview with Robin Uthappa on Jio Cinema, Virat Kohli opened up on his tough phase after the 2022 Asia Cup and how he leaned on Anushka Sharma’s support. “Anushka’s conversations with me have always been priceless, she tells me the truth & straight forward, if I would have left myself in that phase (Before Asia Cup), I would have become an egoistic maniac – she brings me to base level for a normal guy”.

In the same continental tournament, he scored his first century against Afghanistan got his form back. Then he carried this form to the 20-20 World Cup. He was the best batter for the Men in Blue for the tournament. In Australia, he scored 296 runs in six matches with a strike rate of 98.66. He had an average of 136.40. Kohli scored four half centuries in the 20-20 World Cup which includes an unbeaten 82 against Pakistan that happened in India’s first game against their archrivals.
Kohli had not been in the best of form until recently when he racked up the big runs in T20s. Then he recently broke into the top 5 run getters list in ODIs. The runs took some time in Test cricket but when he found his flow back and scored his 28th Test century at the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Ahmedabad. Even in the IPL, Kohli has looked good but has found the going tough against spin.
Royal Challengers Bangalore have blown hot and cold in the IPL thus far. The Bold Army have won two games but also lost two. RCB need to sort out their death bowling issues and middle order muddle if they are to have a good season. They also need to make their home games count.
Let us take a look at the reactions on Twitter:
Nobody cares about what you do with your wife. Just score runs and shut up.

Kohli not shaking hands with Ganguly, does this attract some ICC/IPL code violation?
