3 prominent players who might not be on the squad for the 20-20 World Cup

The left Hander was in good form in the recently concluded Indian T20 League, scoring 460 runs at an average of 38.33 in the 14 games played. The Southpaw, however, has not featured in T20I’s for the India team for a long time but has been very prominent in ODI’s. He also has been a stand-in skipper on a couple of tours, including Sri Lanka and West Indies in ODI’s.

Shikar Dhawan might not be the preferred choice as an opener come the 20-20 World Cup in Australia because the Men in Blue already have a settled top 3 in Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul and Virat Kohli who are all certainties in the side. Due to this Shikar Dhawan will not be playing in the 20-20 World Cup in Australia.
