Like always, Virender Sehwag was seen engaging in fun banters with the England Cricket Team on Twitter. As England is ready to play a five-match test series in India, they are bringing their chef with them on the tour. Replying to the English army’s tweet, Sehwag mocked the team as England players will have to play IPL later. England’s tour of India will start from January 25.

Sehwag took to X to reply to the English army’s tweet. He said, “Yeh zaroorat Cook ke jaane ke baad padhi. IPL mein nahi padegi.”

England team’s captain Ben Stokes is ready for one of the most difficult tours of their season. Beating India at their home is not every team’s cup of tea and England should be prepared for a tough battle. Moreover, England’s conscious attempt to keep their players safe comes from the tour of Pakistan where 13-14 players fell sick due to a bug or virus.

“Yeh zaroorat Cook ke jaane ke baad padhi” says Sehwag.

England’s tour of India starts Jan 25

England is all set to make their yearly tour to India to play a five-match test series before the start of the IPL. Following the South Africa tour, the five-match series against England is a good way to keep the Indian players’ focus on red ball before they completely shift to white ball cricket. The test match is scheduled to start on January 25 at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad.

However, Steve Harrison, the former England player bashes the team as the team is arriving just three days before the start of the series. He compared this team to the England team’s team of 2012-13 which won the series 2-1.

Harrison said to TalkSport, “If England go in three days before, they deserve to get beaten 5-0, they really do. I’m an old man. And that’s what they’re going to say: ‘Times have changed, the game has changed.’ But I tell you what, preparation hasn’t changed.”
