One of the Indian Premier League teams (IPL), Delhi Capitals (DC) players have reported their kits stolen on the way to Delhi from Bangalore. They landed in India’s national capital after playing their game against Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 15. A total of sixteen bats, along with pads, shoes, thigh pads, and gloves went missing from the player’s kit.

As per reports, three of those bats belong to skipper David Warner, two to Mitchell Marsh, three to Phil Salt, and five to Yash Dhull. Apart from this, a few others lost their shoes, gloves, and other cricketing equipment. The players came to know about this after receiving their kit bags in their respective rooms.

“All of them were shocked when they heard that everyone had lost something or the other from their kit bags. This is the first time such an incident has happened and the matter was soon raised to the logistics department, police and later at the airport. The investigation is on,” a source in Delhi Capitals confirmed to The Indian Express.

“Our duty officer asked them to write a complaint with all the details and gave them a paper. They said that they would get all the details and will file a complaint. Appropriate legal action would be taken,” he said.
