WWE Raw: Becky Lynch and Lita clinch women’s tag titles

Becky Lynch and Lita took on Bayley and the rest of Damage CTRL in WWE match. Lynch and Lita battled with IYO SKY and Dakota Kai for the Women’s tag title. Meanwhile, hall of fame Trish Stratus made her return to help the duo even the numbers against damage control.

Stratus took out Bayley, who interfered several times in the match allowing Lynch and Lita to regain control of the bout. When the numbers were even. Lynch and Lita ended Damage CTRL’s 115-day title reign, continuing to build toward a seemingly-inevitable WrestleMania match and winning the title.

Bayley tried to cause distraction at ringside by sliding a title belt into the ring. As soon as the referee removed it Bayley ran around the ring and pulled Lita off the ring apron to prevent a hot tag. Lynch kicked Bayley out of the pin followed by Stratus’ music hit and she ran to the ring to take out Bayley. Lynch made to final tag to Lita, who got in some offense before moving out of the way of an IYO SKY moonsault.

Once Bayley was taken out of the equation, Lynch took on to lock Disarm-Her on Kai, which gave Lita the opening to nail the Lita-Sault on SKY for the pinfall victory. “Raw” went off the air and Stratus, Lita and Lynch celebrated together in the ring

Lynch got emotional after the match talking about Lita and Stratus “changing the game for all of us” and paving the way for the women of her generation.

“Yes, we put a plan together, and there was only one person on the list,” Lita said after the match.
