Women’s domestic T20 competition in Australia, the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) 2022-23 season began on October 13. The competition has grown by leaps and bounds since its inception in 2015 and has turned out to be a very lucrative opportunity for players all around the world.

The league also has seen the cream of overseas players take part in this league. It gives players exposure and experience in an elite setup, being able to share the dressing room with some of the best players in the world. Sydney Sixers are the first team to win fifty matches in the league. They have two titles to their credit as well, and they have appeared in four consecutive championship deciders. They have been the most successful WBBL side as of now. They have had the cream of Australian cricket play for them such as the likes of Ellyse Perry, Alyssa Healy, and Ashleigh Gardner.

Sixers have had wonderful overseas marquee signings as well such as the likes of Dane van Niekerk, Shafali Verma, Radha Yadav, and Sophie Ecclestone.
