Indian fast bowler Ishant Sharma is celebrating his 34th birthday today. While all fans and peers congratulated the cricketer in a generic fashion, Yuvraj Singh had a different take on it.
Singh posted a video on his social media with the caption, “Wishing you a very Happy Birthday to one of the tallest and fiercest fast bowlers in the business. Enjoy your day lambu! Looking forward to your comeback. Lots of love Ishant Sharma.”
While the caption seems nothing out of the ordinary, it is the video which forces viewers to go into splits. The video starts with Yuvraj mimicking Ishant Sharma and says, “Eh, yaar lambu tera birthday hai yaar aaj. Happy birthday to you brother. I hope you’re well.”
The video shows Yuvraj and Ishant Sharma throughout their career playing and training together. It also has clips of Ishant Sharma performing in what looks like a show on a TV channel.

The video is mixed with the song “Ho jayegi Balle Balle” by Punjabi singer Daler Mehndi. The hilarious post is gaining a lot of traction on social media as it has been liked by more than 3 million users on Instagram and more than six thousand likes and many retweets on Twitter.
Ishant Sharma has played 105 Test matches for the country and has taken 311 wickets with a best of 7/74. Although he hasn’t played the same number of ODI matches, Sharma took 115 wickets in 80 ODI matches for the national side. In the Indian T20 League, the Delhi bowler took 72 wickets in 93 matches.
The 6ft 5in bowler doesn’t play in the ODI and T20I for the country anymore, although he hasn’t officially taken retirement from the two formats. Sharma is still in reckoning for the Test team but was not chosen this time around against England. Yuvraj Singh, meanwhile, retired from all forms of international cricket on 10th June 2019. He still plays charity matches from time to time.
