The onus is on Rohit Sharma and his men to repeat the heroics of 2011 under MS Dhoni. The Indian team also will not lack motivation thanks to the billion cricket crazy fans.

With the ODI Cricket World Cup just 15 days away, the Indian team’s kit was revealed. This reveal was done on social media much to the fanfare of the cricket crazy Indian people. Once the jersey was revealed, the Indian cricket fans couldn’t stop praising the new kit for the World Cup.

New skin for Team India with classy touch for ODI Cricket World Cup 2023 

The new Indian jersey for the 2023 ODI World Cup was launched on Wednesday. The 2-minute and 21-second video was launched on social media platforms. The video which features a rap song sung by noted rapper Raftaar was shown to the world by the official Indian team’s kit sponsors.

The jersey has a huge patriotic touch to it. The three white stripes were replaced by the Indian tri-color on the shoulders. This has won over the fans as they lapped up the new playing kit for the ODI World Cup 2023. The biggest message of the song was “Teen (3) ka Dream” (hinting at the demand for a 3^rd World Cup title).

The video features each and every member of the Indian squad, including Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. The video has garnered massive likes and earned rave reviews from fans across social media. Many cricket fans even complimented the video and called it better than the official World Cup 2023 anthem.

Team India will next play against Australia in a short three-match ODI series. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli along with a few other players have been rested. The Indian skipper and former India skipper will miss the first two games of the series. KL Rahul has been given the captaincy for those two games while Rohit and Virat come back for the final ODI.

Ravichandran Ashwin has made a comeback to the team for all three games. The move has come because of the injury suffered by Axar Patel during Asia Cup 2023. The 29-year-old has been kept under watch while Indian team management assesses its options for the World Cup.
