Tennis will never be the same again without the presence of Roger Federer. The Swiss great gears up to play his last tournament in competitive tennis, after which he will bid adieu to the great game. On a warm note, he will play this tournament with his greatest rivals that include the likes of Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic. The awesome foursome will play as a team for Team Europe in the Laver Cup 2022.
Before the Laver Cup starts there was a gala where the tennis stars were seen decked up nicely and then indulging in some other sports like table tennis and having fun. The video of Roger Federer playing table tennis has gone viral over the internet. Federer posted the video on his official Twitter handle. “Just a quick warmup before the gala,” he wrote in the caption.
The four will make a deadly side when they play together against the likes of Jack Sock and Francis Tiafoe. The Laver cup will be held in London for this edition, and it will be a lighthearted tournament, but the tennis will be played at high levels as usual which will be the perfect stage for the magician on grass Roger Federer to end his fabled tennis career on a high.
This tournament, as told by the Legends of Tennis earlier, will be a fun week as they will not only enjoy performing high-quality tennis on the show but also the camaraderie will be high between the four of them. They will have one goal in their mind and that will be to win the Laver Cup for Roger Federer and make it a perfect swansong for him.
This will also be an opportunity to discuss and get an even strong bonding over tennis, life and other stuff. Roger Federer got heartfelt notes from his rivals that would have made him shed tears.
