Team India is gearing up to face South Africa in a five-match T20I home series, starting on 9 June 2022. This series will be vital for both the teams ahead of their preparation for the upcoming T20 World Cup in Australia later this year.
In this shortest format of the game, India is currently enjoying a 12-match winning streak. After last year’s World Cup disaster, India rejuvenated their authority in this format. Hence, all focus shifts towards the first match of this series. India can make a world record of winning 13 T20I matches on a trot by winning this match against the Proteas.
