WATCH: Lionel Messi’s generous gesture at traffic signal leaves Inter Miami fan in shock

The star Argentinian forward, Lionel Messi, kissed a young fan in Miami traffic. The 36-year-old recently completed a free transfer to Major League Soccer (MLS) club Inter Miami from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) Football Club. In the viral video, a young fan was spotted asking the star attacker to kiss him, Messi accepted this and gave the kiss. 

Messi has a larger-than-life image among his fans, and he has a godlike status for his fans all over the world. Whereas in MLS 2023, the Miami side defeated Orlando City 3-1, Messi has been performing well since coming to the USA, it is pertinent to mention that the team is owned by David Beckham. The former FC Barcelona player has so far scored five goals in three games in this edition of MLS, It is also evident that his arrival has clearly grown the popularity of the Miami side among football fans.

Speaking of the video, after the team’s recent win, Messi interacted with the fan, as the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner was kissed by the fan. In the clip, the star footballer was in his car, when the fans came towards him and asked him for a kiss. The Argentine football team skipper accepted the kiss offer, which clearly left the fan in complete disbelief.

Nevertheless, in Inter Miami’s recent fixture, the Miami-based club moved to the round of 16 fixtures of the league. In their last fixture, they won the game by a 3-1 score. Although the game was delayed by 95 minutes because of the bad weather, when the game kicked off, Messi scored the goal in the seventh minute of the game, and the opponent side equalized in the 17th minute of the match to make it 1-1. 

As happened in the first 45 minutes, Miami scored an early goal in the second half. Josef Martinez’s goal took the lead for Miami. But the game saw complete dominance from Inter side as Messi scored another goal in the 72nd minute; the Miami side scorecard was 3-1. Now the fixture against FC Dallas on August 7 will be the first away game for the left-footed player.
