Manchester United was fine-tuning their preparations at Carrington on Wednesday before they flew out to Cyprus to play a Europa League game against Omonia Nicosia on Thursday.
Cristiano Ronaldo is hoping to be part of the main squad considering that he did not feature in the game against arch-rivals Manchester City, where the Red Devils were handed a huge loss of 6-3 in the hands of their namesake.
Ronaldo was in high spirits in the training session though, as he produced something out of the ordinary and had some fun with Martinez. The latter was in between Ronaldo, Diogo Dalot and Anthony Martial, who were passing the ball around the Argentina international.
After he got the ball, Ronaldo rolled it to his other foot before popping it through the on-rushing Martinez’s legs. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner looked delighted, letting out a huge shout and looking up to the sky. He was all smiles and beaming while spinning his arms as he also joked around with Diogo Dalot.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo attempted to leave Manchester United last summer but his quest to find a new franchise was cut short as he found no takers. Reports are indicating that he may leave the club in January.
“He is not happy he didn’t play on Sunday. The question was what happens on the training pitch. There he is happy,” Ten Hag said in a statement.
Ronaldo played for the Red Devils from 2003 to 2007, where he was an important cog in the wheel for the club and was in the scheme of things all the time. Although his second stint had great fanfare. It has not been smooth sailing for the man from Portugal
