With these two playing on two different continents altogether, it will be tough to see them play against each other again. During the game, some Al Shabab fans were cheering for Messi. This led to CR7 giving a hilarious reaction towards the fans. There have been mixed reactions towards this by the fans on social media. There will be a huge debate about whether this is just competitive or just insecurity about being compared.

All we can say this is Ronaldo being Ronaldo. The Portuguese superstar was never known as one of the humblest sportsmen anyway. Ronaldo has always been known as one of the greatest in the world for his talent and competitive spirit. There might be a lot of people term it as disrespectful to Messi, but this still shows the over-competitive nature of Ronaldo even at the age of 39. Ronaldo is still scoring goals and with this reaction, it is clear that he has not changed his ways at all.
