The Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper Aiden Markram has been sensational on the field in the ongoing match of IPL 2023 with Mumbai Indians at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. Markram took three splendid catches in MI’s innings to dismiss players like Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan, and Suryakumar Yadav.

However, the catch of Suryakumar was something to watch for the spectators. The SRH skipper pulled off an incredible running catch to dismiss the MI batter. Facing Marco Jansen in the 12th over, Suryakumar smashed a six in the second ball of his innings. In the very next delivery, Surya chipped the ball to the left of mid-off where Markram came flying to take an acrobatic catch.

Talking about the match, SRH won the toss and elected to bowl first in match number 25 of the season. Batting first, Rohit and Ishan gave a fine start to MI by adding 41 runs for the first wicket in 4.4 overs. Rohit again lost his wicket after a good start as he was dismissed by T. Natarajan after scoring 28 off 18. After that, Kishan and Cameron Green took the innings further with a partnership of 46 runs for the second wicket.

Kishan got out after scoring 38 runs off 31 balls with three fours and two sixes. He tried to take on Marco Jansen in the first ball of the 12th over but the Markram took a flying catch at mid-off to give his team a second breakthrough. A couple of deliveries later, Suryakumar also lost his wicket to Jansen followed by another brilliant fielding effort by the SRH skipper. After that, Green and Tilak Verma put up a partnership of 56 runs for the fourth wicket.

Tilak got out after smashing 37 runs off 17 balls with two fours and five sixes. On the other hand, Green went on to score his maiden IPL half-century. The Australian batter remained unbeaten on 64 off 40 hitting six fours and two sixes as MI scored 192 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in their 20 overs.
