On Sunday against Pakistan at Melbourne Cricket Ground in the 20-20 World Cup 2022, Virat Kohli played the best knock of his entire career. The former Indian skipper himself rated that knock as the best in his entire career. Chasing a target of 160 runs, Virat Kohli came into bat at 31 for 4 and stayed till the end of the chase.
Virat Kohli then joined hands with Hardik Pandya and the duo stitched a hundred-run partnership. Needing 28 runs in the last 8 balls, Virat Kohli hit two outstanding sixes in two balls off Haris Rauf to bring the equation down to 16 needed off 6 balls.
His magnificent 82 off 53 balls helped the team chase down the score on the final ball of the innings. For the first time in his international career, Virat Kohli shed tears after winning a match for India and it depicted the value of that win.
