Video of Virat Kohli spending time with kids before the start of India vs Pakistan game goes viral

The game between India and Pakistan turned out to be a nail-biting thriller, where India defeated their arch-rivals by four wickets. Virat Kohli changed the course of the game with a 113-run partnership with Hardik Pandya that helped chase down Pakistan’s target of 160.

In the meantime, Kohli was seen interacting with kids before the start of the game against Pakistan. He was seen interacting with them and Kohli spoke to them in a very sweet manner. He was seen having an animated conversation with the children. The video where he is seen shaking hands with the kids has gone viral.

The game was played in an electric atmosphere at the Melbourne Cricket Ground where an audience had 90,000 plus people on the hallowed turf to see the game. This was the third India-Pakistan clash to be held in Australia after the 1992 and 2015 ODI World Cup games.

The mother of all battles was a wonderful encounter as the people got their money’s worth because the encounter was finally decided by the last ball of the Indian innings. When Ravichandran Ashwin hit the winning run off Mohammad Nawaz, there was an outpouring of emotions as people were treated to a thriller that would be remembered for the ages.

The MCG has been a wonderful venue for hosting cricket matches and the atmosphere at the India-Pakistan match was akin to the atmosphere of the boxing day test. There was so much frenzy and build-up to the clash even before the match was to take place.

Barely sometime after the schedule was announced, close to One Lakh Tickets were sold in a matter of seven minutes which talks about the attraction of India-Pakistan matches. The game was a worthy spectacle for all those who witnessed it at the MCG and also on television.

India was dead and buried at the halfway point of their chase at 31-4 but earned a comeback for the ages due to the heroics of the talismanic Kohli.
