Steadily and firmly, Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan has built a strong place in the entertainment industry. His exceptional performances in the Hindi film industry with films like October and Badlapur have accredited him with the critics. Moreover, his films like Humpty Sharma Ki Dhulaniya, Bawaal, Bhediya, and many more are fan favourites.

For the unversed, Varun had made his debut in the Hindi film industry with Karan Johar’s Bollywood blockbuster Student Of The Year (2012). He was seen playing one of the leads along with Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt. Now, after a decade of hard work and skills in the entertainment industry, he has proved himself as a formidable actor.

Keeping in mind Sidharth Malhotra, Kartik Aryan, Rajkummar Rao, and Ayushmann Khurrana amongst many others, Varun Dhawan still has strong competition. However, in a recent interview, Varun confesses that he is not bothered about the competition and Bollywood’s rat race. He even dropped his perspective on handling the constant pressure of proving himself and excelling in the industry.

Varun Dhawan gets candid:

In an interview, the actor revealed, “I have actually stopped thinking about the rat race. I’m very happy where I am. It is not that I don’t have aspirations. I have major aspirations and inspirations to reach somewhere. But I’ve realized that I want to keep them to myself, till I have achieved them.” Currently, he is eagerly anticipating the upcoming epic Cricket World Cup series. In the candid chat, Varun also revealed that he has secured tickets for the India v/s Pakistan match that will happen in Ahmedabad. However, the accommodation hasn’t been finalised yet.

Talking about his passion, Varun expressed, “I’m definitely a batsman and when it comes to the underarm, I’ll bowl a bit. But I’m just a regular Indian boy who loves playing cricket.” When asked if he would play a cricketer in any biographical film, Varun said, “I’m very nervous to do a biopic of a cricketer. I love the game so much, I don’t want to get it right only synthetically. If I do then I will need to give it 3-4 years and only do that.”
